ZAD Music Academy was launched to train and prepare musicians for high-level performance and professional stage presence. The academy is committed to making music education accessible to all Jordanians through comprehensive and diverse training programs tailored to various age groups.
Programs and Training
The Academy offers both practical and theoretical instruction, including:
◆ Instrumental training in violin, viola, cello, piano, and flute for all age groups.
◆ Preparation for the internationally recognized ABRSM exams.
◆ ZAD Academy for Young Musicians, designed for children in early childhood (ages 4 to 7).
The Arab Community Orchestra was established with the support of ZAD for Arts, under the leadership of Mr. Lutfi Malhas, the visionary behind the initiative and its artistic founder. The orchestra serves as a creative space that brings together musicians from diverse generations and cultural backgrounds, where Arab and Western classical traditions meet to present high-quality musical performances.
Membership and Participation
The Arab Community Orchestra brings together professional and emerging musicians in a collaborative musical environment. Membership is divided into three categories:
◆ Professionals: sign exclusive contracts with the orchestra.
◆ Students: musicians in training who are working toward a professional level.
◆ Friends of the Orchestra: residents of Jordan, both Jordanians and non-Jordanians, who are passionate about music and wish to take part in organized performances.
Ibda' Scholarship Fund for Performing Arts provides scholarships for training courses in music, theater, and creative writing. It also collaborates with ZAD for Arts’ partners to enable young artists to access theaters and performance spaces, helping them develop their skills and present their work to the public.
